Milk peda / Paal Kova

This milk peda / Paal Kova is little bit time consuming but the end result is priceless.

Ingredients



Whole milk-1 litre
Sugar-150 gm
Cardamom powder-1/4 tsp
Ghee -1 tbsp


Method

  • Boil the milk .Stir often or else the milk will stick to the bottom.
  • Once it reduces to half,add sugar and allow to reduce and thicken up
  • Once it thickened,add Cardamom powder and mix well
  • Next Add ghee and switch off the heat.
  • Allow to cool and grease your hands with ghee and make it into your desired shapes
  • Tasty Milk Peda is ready

Notes

  • Try to use whole milk because if we use 2 or 3 % milk we will end up with a very little amount paalkova and all our effort will be wasted.
  • you can also use condensed milk to enrich the taste
