Kaju Katli/Cashew Burfi

This is an awesome sweet which many probably thought it was too difficult to make but it is actually quite simple and very easy to make and you can prepare it in 15 minutes

Ingredients



Cashewnuts- 1 ½ cups
Sugar-1 cup
Water-1/2cup
Edible Silver leaves
Ghee for greasing

Method

  • First we have to make cashew nut powder.Grind them to a coarse powder.Dont grind it for a long time because if you grind for a long time ,the cashews will ooze out their fat.

  • Next prepare sugar syrup,add water and sugar in a pan and bring it to a string consistency


  • Reduce the heat to low ,add the cashew powder and cardamom powder and mix well and keep stirring until it thickened up.It will take about 6 minutes.





  • Now transfer to a greased plate .Grease the chappathi roller with ghee and roll them to a thin layer


  • Coat them with edible silver leaves

  • Cut them diagonally using knife or pizza cutter



  • Enjoy your tasty kaju katli
